watch out kiddies the SHARKS ARE COMING TO GET YOU !
I always thought the Spanish were quite a Siesta loving, fairly unassuming, Latin music loving bunch, but, you know - they’re at peace (as far as I know the Basques have died down ??) there haven’t been any major human rights abuses since the Inquisition,, yet...to my shock I have found out they are raping the seas and committing the most appalling animal abuses. Quite why anyone has to eat Sharks, their fins (or any meat for that matter), is completely beyond human comprehension. Is anyone out there eating Shark ?? Please let me know and I can come round and splatter your face with mud.. When judgement day comes there may be some people baying at the end of a very strong fishing line, with a big hook stuck in their throat (in perpetuity). I don’t really blame the fisherman, after all, some **** in Europe has said go on, rape the seas, do what you like, ensure there’s no sharks left when your finished... and all these greedy wee people have gone out, bought a factory sized trawler, and hunted down the lucrative shark. Apparently, they land 50,000 tonnes of shark a year. They CUT THE FINS OFF WHILST THE SHARK IS STILL ALIVE (sorry kids are you having your Crunchies), and sometimes throw the carcass back in the water still alive, because the fins are so valuable. So, if anyone wants to know, (not that anyone will be interested) my Music is about sick ******* like this, and the rest of the sick ******* that allow it to go on, as well as the rest of the sick ******* that are causing pain and suffering in the world - (sorry to say no nice themes in my songs) - hands up all the bastards in the Lebanon and Palestine who are still allowing their children to suffer all in the name of religion (or some figment of it that rests in their imagination) year after year - if I see 1 more child crying on teli I’m out their with my baseball bat !

Hi Phil, many thanks for the kind message, I have spent some time in Beirut and the Lebanon, and have relatives there, and additionally have spent some time in Basque country, and also, have friends there. Are you saying its OK to make animals and people suffer unnecessarily - I can't believe that you would be so cruel ? You can't think its OK to cut Shark's Fins off and throw the animal back in to the sea alive ?
I do appreciate your view and comments though - at least it gets people thinking, there's no point in all this is there, unless there is debate ??
The Lebanon is brilliant , I love it - but all this continual conflict - are you saying its OK ?

I for one am glad that I found another rare human who actually cares about the much maligned shark. I think they are spectacular creatures.
I am a veterinary nurse and was dismayed to discover that Glucosamine Chondroitin, a very popular supplement in complementary medicine for arthritis, contains shark cartillege. The glucosamine part is fine and is proven to be effective. The chondroitin part, however, is the shark parts ingredient and has never been proven to be an effective part of the medicine.

I completely wholeheartedly agree with you, it is utterly dismal what we are doing to the Earth. Ofcourse there has to be capitalism, but a balance has to be struck. I can't mend all the ills but I am trying to do my little bit, by speaking out here, and living the life, and through my art (music ?!) !
I am a vegetarian, and try and do my little bit, but, it is a bit like chipping away at a huge Stonehenge type Rock with a small spatula. I believe the cruelty that man permeates on the Earth is derived from our abuse of animals, it cascades into our beings and 'makes it ok'.
The work you are doing is brill', I wish I could be a Vet, but, all those animal type fluids !!!
I noticed you are an artist and into art - have you seen any of the Gilbert & George stuff ?;. I went to the Tate, and the day I was there, they G&G) were walking around the gallery, it blew my mind !!
