Um... holy shit. That set was too fucking good for words! The Eppards are so in sync... I can't wait for the weekend of December 3rd, 4th & 5th! Best "Paint By Number" I've ever heard. Stories of how they grew up around the corner from the venue brought me back to the first time I saw Joey solo, 4 1/2 years ago at that very spot - when it was the Forum.

I really wish someone could've recorded it. Could be the best Eppard Brothers performance - but I can't let myself say that it was. Each one holds a special nostalgic place in my heart. Can't be objective... however, I couldn't peel myself away to take any video or photos. They sounded too damn good!

No Eppard Brothers show ceases to be magical! And The Ricochet and Cosmonaut were fuckin' wicked too. I look forward to hearing and seeing more from them both.

March 22, 2008 - Mariner's Harbor in Kingston, NY - impromptu original 3 reunion (Joey Eppard, Josh Eppard, Chris "CJB" Bittner) plus Robert "Chicken" Burke, David "Wavis" Parker, Billy Riker, Dave Daw took turns sitting in throughout their two sets.

April 18, 2008 - Backstage Studio Productions in Kingston, NY - with DENT (Joe Stote & Gartdrumm) and Astronauts. Billy Riker, Daniel Grimsland, CJB, Dave Daw all sat in at some point or another. Even Joe Stote joined in on one song!

June 08, 2008 - The Basement in Kingston, NY - with Instant Asshole, Dent, Dead Unicorn. Despite a gruesome skateboarding accident, Uncle John still performed with his band, Instant Asshole. The Eppard Brothers were joined by Billy Riker, Daniel Grimsland, Dave Daw, CJB, and even their dad- Jimmy Eppard; at various points throughout the set.

August 29, 2008 - Mariner's Harbor in Kingston, NY - Revolving guest musicians were Mic Todd, Billy Riker, CJB, Jimmy Eppard during both sets.

September 4, 2009 - Port of Call in Catskill, NY - The duo for two full sets!

September 11, 2009 - Port of Call in Catskill, NY - Anthony Masington joined the brothers impromptu during the second set, and even played some of his Session 606 material with Joey on drums!

October 01, 2009 - The Keltic House in Fishkill, NY - with Session 606. Dad performed with the brothers (forming the E-Males?).

October 03, 2009 - Keegan Ales in Kingston, NY - with a bunch of other bands celebrating the Hudson Valley brewery's 6th anniversary. E-Males.

November 14, 2009 - Backstage Studio Productions in Kingston, NY - with Elysium Theory. The bassist for the night was Daniel Grimsland.

First Acts Revealed For EuroSonic Noorderslag

EuroSonic Noorderslag is Europe’s biggest and most important live music industry conference and showcase festival and following on from the success of artists such as Ida Maria and Casiokids this year’s edition will focus on Norway. Taking place in the Netherlands from 14th – 16th January 2010, EuroSonic Noorderslag will transform the city of Groningen into a melting pot of Europe’s best new European talent, ready to be discovered by both music lovers as industry professionals.

Each year EuroSonic Noorderslag focuses on a particular European country featuring performances by the best artists and dedicating conference topics to its music industry. 2010 will be the year of Norway. With its vibrant music scene, Norway offers a wide variety of the best music, ranging from hard rock to pop, from indie-dance to Norwegian metal. Confirmed artists so far are: Audrey Horne, Bernhoft, Donkeyboy, Monolithic and Rockettothesky.

In addition to the Norwegian focus, over 200 bands from all over Europe are scheduled to play at the event, all hoping to impress the festival promoters and booking agents in the audience. Confirmed acts include; Agent Fresco (IC), Choir of Young Believers (DK), Deolinda (PT), Everything Everything (GB), Go Back To The Zoo (NL), Gösta Berling Saga (SE), Jasper Erkens (BE), Joensuu 1685 (FI), Lee Everton (CH), Lucy Love (DK), Moke (NL), Rigby (NL), Sliimy (FR), So I Watch You From Afar (IR), Svjata Vatra (EE), Tim Knol (NL), Waylon (NL) and Wickeda (BG).
As the exchange and support of new music in Europe is one of the main goals of EuroSonic Noorderslag, the special European Talent Exchange Program (ETEP) was introduced in 2003. Each year ETEP brings together the leading European festivals, radio and other media and stimulates them to ‘exchange’ a selection of artists. 2009 set a new record! 214 shows, with 75 European artists from 18 countries performing at 54 ETEP festivals in 20 countries. Tony D'Mattia, Known As Fiz, Releases Classic Pop Rock Flavored Self-Titled Album, Tony D'mattia-Fiz

New York City, NY- FiZ recently formed a non-profit organization called Notes For Life. Notes For Life is a non-profit organization that raises money for charities that help physically challenged children. News 12 TV recently covered one of his monthly performances at the Carmen Road School on Long Island. With his unique skill, FiZ engages and involves the children in his songs as he sings directly to them there by created a large fan base. Bethany and Rufus Roots Quartet's new CD "Live A Fip" - released in Europe - is a master collaboration between the group Bethany and Rufus (Bethany Yarrow and Rufus Cappadocia), Haitian Percussionist 'Bonga' Jean-Baptiste, and singer/flautist Yacouba Moumouni. The CD gets its name from the "Live A Fip" radio series, where they were invited to perform while doing a promotional spot for Radio France. The song "Iraq" is one that will touch your emotions, arouse your senses, and open your heart and mind to an experience beyond measure.
